The Gateway On-Line Wi-Fi connects Bluetooth locks and access controls to the Cloud through a secure Wi‑Fi network. This connection allows devices to send recorded events to the server and enables full remote management from any location.
Remote Management for Hotel and Facility Teams
The system supports remote maintenance and control from the reception PC or an administrator smartphone. This ensures fast responses to guest needs and efficient management of access points.

How the Omnitec Online System Works
The system uses dual connectivity with Bluetooth and Wi‑Fi. Locks and access controls send information to the Gateway via Bluetooth. The Gateway then transfers this data to the server through Wi‑Fi for administrator access.
Communication Between Administrator and Devices
Remote commands from the administrator are sent from the server to the Gateway via Wi‑Fi. The Gateway then transmits these commands to the locks or access controls using Bluetooth. When the administrator’s smartphone is within Bluetooth range, it communicates directly with the device without using Wi‑Fi.
System Requirements and Compatibility
A stable Wi‑Fi network and Omnitec Bluetooth‑enabled locks or access controls are required for online operation. The Gateway is fully compatible with all Omnitec Bluetooth locks, access controls and safes.
