The Omnitec PoE Gateway offers the same advanced features and performance as the standard Omnitec Gateway, with the added benefit of Power over Ethernet (PoE) connectivity. This model connects directly to the router using an RJ45 Ethernet cable, which delivers both network access and electrical power. The result is a cleaner, more reliable installation with fewer cables and improved long‑term stability.
Please note: the router or server must support PoE to power the gateway.
The Omnitec online system uses dual connectivity through Bluetooth and Ethernet‑powered communication, ensuring fast, secure and efficient interaction between access devices and administrators.
Electronic locks and access control units send data via Bluetooth to the PoE Gateway.
The Gateway, connected to the hotel’s network, forwards this information to the server, making it instantly available to the system administrator.
Remote actions performed by the administrator, whether from a PC or smartphone, are transmitted from the server to the Gateway via the Ethernet network. The Gateway then relays these commands to the locks and access controls using Bluetooth.
When the administrator’s smartphone is within Bluetooth range of a lock or access control device, communication occurs directly, without using the Gateway.

There are two different modes of operation:
1 – Auto-closing, with programmable closing time
2 – Open mode: the user closes the lock with their bluetooth electronic key, code or card.
There are several user modes for this system:
1 – Owner: for lockers exclusively used by one person.
2 – Allocation: for persons using lockers that are available at any given time, with one card that closes only one locker.
3 – Programmable automatic times for opening at a certain time.
The lock does not require wiring and works with 4 AAA batteries. Under 10% of charge level, Lockerfy doesn’t close to avoid not being able to be opened later.
Opening alarm: An alarm sounds and lights up when the lock is forced opened.

Emergency Opening
The lock has an emergency opening when the batteries are drained, The Lockerfy is equipped with a connector that allows the lock to be powered via a connected power bank.
The Gateway converts the Lockerfy lock into online devices.
With an online connection via Wi-Fi, the Lockerfy lock transfers the recorded events to the Cloud, which allows the administrators to access the online audit via the app or software
Another functionality of the Gateway that brings extra convenience is the remote opening. If a person is faced with a Lockerfy controlled door without an access credential, the owner can open the different devices using the app or software.
