Hotel teams can configure the six M1–M6 speed-dial keys for useful services such as reception, room service, housekeeping and emergency assistance. Auto-provisioning and web-based firmware upgrades also make it easier to install and manage multiple telephones across a property.
The Opal supports SIP V1 and SIP V2, several voice codecs and flexible DHCP, static IP and PPPoE network configuration. Features such as echo cancellation, voice activity detection, packet-loss compression and a jitter buffer help provide clear and reliable calls.
